Modern Slavery Statement

We are committed to the UN Sustainability Goals, and we do all we can to ensure our people, clients and our suppliers are treated fairly, justly and with care and compassion. We abhor all forms of modern slavery, which is a vile crime, and ensure as far as possible that there is no modern slavery anywhere in our supply chain.  We pay our suppliers within 5 days of receiving an invoice.

We aim to adopt and live out the Nolan principles of public life, in all we do, and which we support wholeheartedly:

  • Selflessness: We act in our clients’ interests.
  • Integrity: We maintain personal and professional integrity, through confidentiality and avoid undue influence
  • Objectivity: We act impartially, fairly and without discrimination or bias.
  • Accountability: We hold coaches to accountability, and ourselves to deliver impact in the coachee’s and organisation’s best interest.
  • Openness: We act and take decisions in an open and transparent manner.
  • Honesty: we are truthful, and do not shirk from sharing that truth with our clients.
  • Leadership: We treat our coachees with respect, and challenge poor behaviour wherever it occurs.

We recognise that Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. We are aware that Modern Slavery takes various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain

Adderley Ltd adopts a zero tolerance to modern slavery, human trafficking, all forms of servitude and forced and compulsory labour.

We fully support the government’s objectives to eradicate all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking, and set high standards of impartiality, integrity, transparency, and objectivity. We will ensure that our activities and those of our contractors operate to the highest level of ethical standards operating under sound governance arrangements.

We require all organisations we engage with to ensure their goods, materials, and labour-related supply chains are unambiguous and fully comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015; and are clear, transparent, accountable, and auditable; and are free from ethical ambiguities.

We call upon all organisations we engage with to influence their own local and global supply chains by improving transparency, accountability, and training so that together we can help the government eradicate the injustice and brutality of modern slavery and human trafficking.

The modern slavery statement and policy is fully supported by directors
